Do I know anyone with chaos little ones who tear clothes up playing too hard? My friend’s kiddo apparently goes through pants like wild fire because she explores too hard.
I used duck and corduroy. Sturdiest fabrics I know. Let’s hope it works. 🤞

Need some optional on some #larp garb. Should I overlay this taffeta? I’m nervous because of the durability of it. But it’s sooo pretty for my violet starling inspired character. It would be the vest and the waist belt. I like you can still see the jacquard pattern underneath.

I’ve been putting this off because I hate bias tape. But 1/2 my bodice is done-ish.

Wig test for my MirrorSight character. I extended the cap to fit better and I trimmed the bangs a bit. Though, those will be gone soon.
Fairly happy with the dye job I did for the feathers I’m adding in. Also, I kind of want my hair purple now.

Grabbed some bits from the fabric store and I’m quite a bit more optimistic about this look. It’s all navy, I just have an irregular sleep schedule and take photos at night.

The coloring is funky in this photo. It’s a much dustier pink in person. I’m also taking this photo in the dead of night with a yellowish bulb above me. But look at that pattern! Such a great second hand find.

Today’s sewing was a project I was putting off a bit. A new quilted coat for my kiddo. I sent him links to jelly rolls and this is the one he picked from Kona Cotton. So pretty. 💜💙🩵 I settled on an Appliqué technique on the back here with some single fold bias to cover seams and bring contrast.
Man the lighting on this must really perceive weird. They’re grey and navy. I took some other photos with hopefully better lighting.

They don’t match the way I want. Debating changing the fabrics. Thoughts? The darker uncut blue fabric is for the skirt.
