I guess if you are talking about supermarket sauce, which isn’t really comparable

As Chicago born, I just enjoy knowing there is no way he wins primaries in the battleground midwestern states. Not one chance

It could not be easier to make a top shelf burger at home. With a little attention to detail and ingredient quality.

I think it takes me around 10 minutes from raw mince to assembly, maybe another 10 to prep other ingredients

We should all care about he and his cause and its dubious associations with dark money and connections to foreign oligarchs including Russian (like most of the European far right) but the decade long exercise in denial seems too ingrained

We know more about growth than we are pretending we do. These things just have been placed outside the Overton Window of 2010-2025 Britain

Wow. Leadership ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

President of #Dartmouth saying, "Protest has a time and place," is the most un-American thing an intelligent person could say (and I have 3 family members who graduated Dartmouth). So genius, who's going to decide the right time and place? You? Trump?

No wonder they're the only Ivy Trump overlooks.

William Bell’s “I Forgot To Be Your Lover” the other side of his Tele spring reverb bite. Pure shimmer

The way his guitar and Duck Dunne’s bass cross high and low in Eddie Floyd’s Knock On Wood is so funky. He always knew where to be and not be

He doesn’t know how to do this. And gets watery eyes at one point in sympathy. Jesus dude

And the resulting echo in the receptive media spaces: Megyn Kelly expressing (about the boat strikes) that she’d like them to lose limbs and bleed out slowly, and Greg Gutfield the same. Gratified only by violence
December 4, 2025 at 7:21 PM
But only vicariously. Like Megan and Gutfeld should be forced to personally witness violence up close and ask themselves why they are so empty

My great great grandfather owned a saloon on 567 W Madison in the 1910s (now under a tower across from Ogilvie train station), and lived just west of you where the hospital is.

An unbelievable century of social history there. Maxwell Street, Hull House, Little Italy, skid row, the expressway.

I just did this, but in reverse. To make one of his defenders own that inexcusable shit this week

Chicago has a great music scene, I expect it to influence this year’s list for the snowy owl

The lack of press access and intentional targeting with over 200 journalists killed is telling in itself.

As for “fake stuff”, Israel’s government has been caught propagating that themselves

This isn’t really a war in the usual sense of that term, by the way.

I see more a more accurate, historically informed big picture from social media, osint community and podcasts than on television news and the main broadsheet newspapers, and it’s not even close
December 3, 2025 at 11:41 PM
I guess, if by “social media bullshit” you mean medics getting double tapped, journalists being fpv droned, and tents getting 500lbers, sure

And pandering

Because pandering never happens on Fox Dot TV

There’s so much to it. Real, under the transient 2-4 year in their 20s crowd. I was there 93-2004. A lot of change. But long enough to get to know the underlying place. And that this sign was about Sid and Bernice and nothing more
December 3, 2025 at 9:45 PM
Of course, there’s Johnsburg, Illinois as one of his great songs. He’s been around

My grandparents were out there and it could have been them
