It needs to be an attractive option and predispose /all/ sides and people to listen to eachother, be humble, embarassed and drop somw deffenses.

If we make it a national (or international) day or campaign, then people have a reminder to reach out. Bonus points if it is made fun with party elements.

And what I mean is we shouldn't forget we are also a viewer.

We are all going to be affected by the biases.

For example, there is a known salience bias for deciding what was the cause of something. Meaning that what you witnessed most directly will feel more like the real causal factor for an event.

And I think we are also in our own bubbles and should offer a space where we say "I might be wrong in some ways too" and together we find the things we are both agreeing on.

I recently had a similar slump and what helped me was doing a big spontaneous fun thing. (Mine was going to a stand up comedy show and chatting with old friends after, and making new friends until 5am. Felt like a new person. Motivation for dayzzz)
