You’ll see. We’re gonna have the best Department of Engineering in the world! Our bridges will be the most beautiful, the most radiant, the shiniest bridges in history! They will beautify all the places.

And the unpatriotic engineer who seeks to gum up the works of my beautiful Department of Engineering with reports, or (air quotes) Peer Reviewed Research,” will be summarily lambasted on all airwaves as an enemy of Beautification!

Any engineer who submits more than three drawings—just forget it. Denied! Tables with numbers? No.

The bigger the better. I especially like bridges that span big dangerous chasms. Your goal should always be to try to please me— make me happy. That will help your bridge to get approved.

I just made it up.
Anyway, if anyone wants to build a new bridge, that person must go through me first. If the three drawings look good and have lots of shiny objects that will make people want to people want to look at it, and not at whatever else is going your bridge is approved!

Y. I call most transnational aid agencies vultures based on their nonwork in Haiti. All the same, this chaos is destructive, and the piranhas love causing it. Someone needs to remind Narcissus — this isn’t Twitter.

Anyway, Kate and I want to invite you to NE. I can’t even remember the last time I saw you!

Been racking my mind too on similar questions. This potential digital panopticon is … I don’t even know how to characterize it. I think what we need is to use allegory and poetry code that’s undecipherable. Not exactly your Q, but….
