Renew Our Democracy
Let’s get these transit centers serving them! Vandy one can easily serve 75 or 77. Not sure why West can’t include 77. One City or HCA area on either side seems doable. Feels like it’s centered outside 440 though. 🤷‍♂️

You’re right but it takes more than luck to rebuild a democracy. #GetOutTheVote

Still on both apps. What makes you think it disappeared? Sign gone or bus passed it?

Unsure- Lemme check. I know I’ve used it in the last 2 months.

Thanks from Nashville!

I may have exaggerated. I know the slight part of it but the “recipe” part I always forget.

Woot 🙌🏻

I’ve been in Tennessee 58 years and have to lookup “cornpone” every single time.

Cornpone AND hayseed? For riding a mechanical bull? Tough crowd 😅

I’d forgotten about the Seventeen thing…and I found it.

And the music wasn’t quite as good as the 70s but a good runner up.

I think 90s clothing styles were the best. The hippie 70s clothing got more hard core, ppl started being more individualistic with mixing up styles, men’s clothing had more color but not in a gaudy way. Even men’s ties were better than any other decade. And: HHS was definitely at its best!

Don’t even get me started on 70s clothing 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I never taught middle school and went to “Junior High” which only had 7th and 8th. And we were just leaving the 1970s which was a strange decade to grow up in. Except for the music which still rules.

I feel like 7th is “man, I gotta bathe every day? Can I just hide?” And by 8th you finally are and can face society.

My wife has taught 3 year olds for her entire career. She loves ‘em, but agrees with the assessment.

@aftynbehn.bsky.social had low initial prospects for the last house seat she won; she defied the odds and I’m optimistic she will again.

To add, if passed, the bill would grandfather fences built out of compliance but which do not create visibility issues as determined by NDOT. So hopefully will reduce a lot of appeals.

I had one at BZA early October, 2 coming on Nov 6 agenda. In discussing the first one, I was told 22 appeals in the last few years at BZA. At Rules Cmte, I’ve also been asking Fire & Building Codes Appeal Board nominees if fence issues also appear on their docket a lot. They said they did.
