I will use a mixed-methods design to conduct my research. I will be utilizing focus groups to interview students about their experiences with different vocabulary strategies. I will then compare that data with the results from CFA’s to determine if the two sets of data match. #CHOICEstudy7130

My research design is a correlational study. A correlational study does not explain cause and effect. It will, instead, show if there is a positive or negative relationship between dictionary usage and achievement. #quantstudy7130

Coming from a small district to a larger one. My larger district is connected (pacing guides, curriculum, assessments) but schools/teachers don't have much input in choosing/creating those resources. Looks and feels very different than small district.

Agreed! I was at a rural school for 7 years and my former students were always surprised to see me the next year. The "lifers" are those that are from the town.

My research design is Grounded Theory, because it focuses on a process and allows for inductive and abductive thinking. This will allow for the development of a theory to help answer my research question; using interviews and observations. #qualstudy7130
