What a dilemma. Save print journalism or enrich a creep? Both?

It has begun.

When you live in a family that loves their books. — Guess what we’re doing on Friday night? The new house is coming along. I wish there was a snow day, where we could catch up on our unpacking. Tod and I got the kitchen in something resembling order. It’s so nice to have a pantry.

Chappell Roan and I are doing errands in Medford, Oregon. Best Buy, CVS, Target. It’s expensive to leave the house. I better get home soon. Happy Friday, y’all.

Moving day. — Every time I move, I vow that it will be the last time. But life is not always like the brochure, and things change. This house treated us well when we needed it. Now we’re just moving across town. It’s going to be good.

I spent the day answering people’s questions at the reference desk in the Ashland branch. It never gets old. People keep us on our toes. So many questions.

My friend and writing coach loves the F-word. She uses it generously and, frankly, it suits her. Like all of us, she is finding this month to be troubling. When I saw this meme I thought of her immediately. Is there a word better than “fuck”? I don’t think so. Any suggestions?

There is only ONE poster in my new trainer’s studio. Fortunately, it’s the only one I need to see. Maybe I should tattoo it on me.
