We are in the cherry capital of Bulgaria, so our signature Rakia is from cherry, it has similar profiles to the German “kirschwasser”. We aren’t available in Serbia, but maybe one day. Have you heard of Yerbiga? A Serbian/US Rakia created by one of the members of Faith No More.

Find a village Baba or Dyado, some rakiya and let the good time roll.

Yeah… sometime in mixed company, we will speak in Bulgarian to be polite, but the default is English. I have found other linguistic outlets, I am quite conversant when talking about food and Rakia!

100% I have been with my partner for 25 years; we met in NY. His English is impeccable. I have been living in his country for 18 years, our kids are all bilingual, but we speak English at home and the kids communicate with each other in English… I still struggle. He got all the pillow talk 🙄
