It's really unreal that a company could just "lose" millions of dollars and the backers of that company can just move on.
It's not illegal to go backrupt, but it sure as hell should be illegal to misplace that amount of money and shrug it off for a $1 fine.

Probably not a great sign that there is no way I could tell you where I would go to buy a game from Amazon. Like step one I could not even tell you what website I would go to.
