Hot off the needles, a jumper for my baby nephew. Both his parents are geologists, so obviously I used the Fossil Frenzy dinosaur designs. Just got to sew it all together. 🧶

A small bright lime green knit. The body has a dark blue t-rex skull in the middle and footprints round above the welt. The sleeves are not attached and also have footprints just above the cuff. All three sit on top of a pattern book called Knitting Fashion

For the first time since 2020, I'm not camping for the Mayday bank holiday weekend. Instead I'm trying to catch up with art projects, which includes mounting knitting. Look at this stack of Nieblings! 🧶

Today I *am* going to finish plying this Teeswater. And I couldn't resist this knitting book. A much needed holiday used as crafting time. #handspinning 🧶
A Tibetan style supported spindle with a small cop of nearly white plied yarn, wound very neatly in a criss-cross pattern. The singles are fine and come from a turtle from a Turkish style spindle. A photo of the cover of Sue Stratford's Knitted Aviary, A flock of 21 beautiful birds to knit. The cover has a knitted robin, kingfisher, pigeon, pheasant, blue tit, puffin and flamingo shown sitting among a branch with felt leaves and daisies. They are all very cute.

Another wip for #ShowMeYourKnits, this time a very colourful Moose and mountains by @bunnymuff.bsky.social. Nearly finished clue 4... 🧶
Blue and green strpes of knitting form the background to a white pattern of fir trees, mountains and a moose. There is a decorative band running across the middle and a lot of orange stitch markers along the needle edge.

I'm only slightly late posting the spinning I promised someone a few days ago...

Manx Loaghtan on a drop spindle, both from Adelaide Walker. It's going to be tough not buying lots more fun spinning stuff from Wonderwool Wales in a few weeks, but my fibre stash is not going down fast enough.

My interchangeable needles have betrayed me and started eating my yarn when they unscrew. But look at the glorious quality of this mend that was too far down to redo. So far the only downside of 60 DMC cotton.

Fingers holding down some fine, slightly off white lace knitting against a dark wood background. The focus area is largely stocking stitch. If one looks really closely, there are two loose ends coming out of the knitting near a section that is ever so slightly denser than the rest. If you listen closely you can here the knitter swearing because cotton yarn isn't meant to randomly break in four places because it's cordonnet spun and not susceptible to moths.

All patterns by Herbert Niebling.
A round black hoop with royal blue lace knitting suspended within. There are sprigs if leaves falling towards the centre and looped shells around the edge. Pattern is Waldesruh, knitted in approx size 10 cotton. A close up of the very edge of a lace shawl, pinned to an orange blocking mat. A flower like lace cresent with i-cord loops is in the centre. The colours are pastel, with neon rainbow pops, the loops round the very edge are mauve with spaced rainbows. Pattern was mashed together from several in order to use up all the yarn from an advent calendar. (Yarn dyer sells jkr merch so I won't list them) A fine knitted round lace doily pinned to a lime green mat. The background is yellow with six flowers radiating from the centre. The stems and leaves are two shades of green. There are three different pinks in the petals, two flowers of each. The petal are each hearts coming out of the green stem, joining the next petal at the lobes. The edge is made of dark and light blue and orange. It doesn't fit the design well, and the three large holes in it look like gaping faces. Pattern is Hertzblume, and used intarsia to highlight the different sections. While you can't see them, there are hundreds of ends tucked behind the knitting. A folded up white doily is pictured, against a red and purple blanket. The knitting is a hex mesh background with a single large flower in it. The flower has rwo leaves and a long stem, with six petals, remeniscent of a peacock tail. The edging is all crumpled, but shows sprigs if leaves and a looped edging. Pattern is Otto, worked in size 10 Anchor Aida. The cordonnet spin of this thread made it a joy to work with and a real shame that it has been discontinued.

It's all gone a bit tits up. Picking up 50 stitches after ripping back 8 rows while sat on a train stuck in Coventry due to signalling problems. I suppose at least I have my knitting! 🧶

I started the @bunnymuff.bsky.social MKAL. Loving it so far, but very glad I bought some short tips misguidedly a few years ago. Yarn is WYS signature. Definitely not subtitle tv knitting! 🧶

This is the floral side because the other is just a bird's bum!
