In 2024 the US spent $1.83 TRILLION more than it collected in taxes.

The top 1% of the population controls 30.8% of the wealth in the US, or about $43 TRILLION in 2023.

So what's the best way to reduce the US spending gap: continue to cut govenment employees and services, or tax the wealthy?
