I was inspired to use Zeks my cougar adventurer as a side character in a new story and wanted to find this old pic because its great and I still love it and remembered these other bangers

I don't get as enthusiastic about twinks anymore but maybe I have a starting point, visually, for Ib-Na after all. @tastytoxins.bsky.social drew these two a long time ago and they were spectacular. Maybe it's time to see what I can do with such a clean design now.

Something I would love to commission but lack the money (and thus haven't scouted an artist who would match my vision):

Casca, lit from behind by stars and moonlight, rising off the ground as if experiencing apotheosis. Cum rising with him in swirling waves as if lifting him up.

Goofy looking vehicles.

Even when we see Amonkhet's team win on Hour of Victory, Basri and Zahur's faces are indistinct and the symbols of their plane are murky or obscure.

We could have had a set just about Amonkhet (or a three set block but wotc is forsaken by the light of heaven)...

I didn't realize that rates for mtg art were that low. The original Facebook post is by Donato Giancola, a legendary figure in the scene who did traditional oil painting for the game since the 90s.
