I agree, but Brian Kilmeade called for rounding up and executing the homeless and nobody batted an eye so I can't see anyone caring about this

(as if it wasn't obvious from the moment it started)

We shouldn't have had any kind of moral authority anyway, the closest we ever got to legitimacy was WW2 and then we immediately imported nazis through operation paperclip

Yes they do, they've fired lots of competent people who actually know how to do their jobs and will follow the law.

(I get what you mean and you're not wrong, I'm just being pedantic)

I found one of those Japanese privacy screens at a thrift store and use it to enclose the plants like a little greenhouse lol

Agreed, I don't remember many specifics for either show except my vague impression that 12 monkeys was really good but felt convoluted and was hard for me to focus on (ADHD) and keep watching, whereas Travellers was impossible to put down and pretty much perfectly-executed at every step

There are lots, actually.

@katmabu.bsky.social for starters, and runforsomething.net has done a lot of good work getting fresh faces to run for office. And we're now finally at the point where boomers no longer have the majority in the house

They should be in the media CONSTANTLY calling out the illegal, country-destroying evil bullshit that's going on. It's not like congress spends hardly any time actually working, they have lots of time to be making noise but instead it's crickets (other than Jasmine Crockett, AOC etc of course)

Okay but when was the last time you saw Schumer or Jeffries make a media appearance calling out the fascism? Why are they so quiet?

The dems might not have the majority but that NEVER stops the Republicans from controlling the narrative and fighting and blocking every damn thing

If we didn't, they wouldn't be fighting so hard (and losing, lately) to rig them

Functionally, “political” isn’t the specialized term we think it to be; it’s bound up with core issues like human rights, identity, sustenance. It may be useful to mentally substitute something like “societal.” As such, I don’t think you can disconnect the political from the philosophical/spiritual.
