gonna finish up the last ones later today but here’s part 3 for now! #HourlyComicsDay
Hourly comics day, 3 PM. I lay collapsed on the ground in despair, a spotlight shining on me to emphasize my defeat. An arrow points to me with text that reads, “Forgot what powers my own character has.” A thought bubble containing said character floats above me, but he just looks confused. 4 PM. My friends and I are walking down a pedestrian street with the wind to our backs. My coat is billowing forwards strangely, as if it had been inflated like a balloon by the wind. One of my friends standing next to me looks amazed at the coat. I’m asking, rhetorically, “why is the wind turning my coat into a sail?” The dialogue bubbles are broken up with the connecting line also being blown around by the wind. 5 PM. The first panel shows a bowling ball striking a bunch of bowling pins, knocking them all over. The word “strike” in all caps stretches between the first and second panels. In the second panel, I’m shown celebrating at the start of the lane as bowling pins fly in the foreground. In the third panel, I’m holding up a peace sign, and text below me reads “won bowling!”

part two except i’m a bit late cause i did things with friends all afternoon yesterday lol
Hourly comics day, 11 AM. A person (me) is using awe-inspiring and immense power to draw some cool shit on an art tablet. Said cool shit is not shown in the panel, in part because I’m not actually done with the piece I was working on yet. 12 PM. A person (me) is cooking on the stove while watching videos on his phone. 1 PM. The first panel is a dramatic angle of a car driving down a road. Two people sit inside, and the driver (me) is talking, but no dialogue is shown. The second panel has text reading “lunch complete” wrapped around a plate with two bao buns and rice. 2 PM. Two people walk through a crowded bookstore, labeled as a “Local Barnes and Nobles”. The one on the left (me) asks, “why are there so many people here?” and the person on the right (my partner) responds with a simple IDK. A table in the background with a sign for a new book suggests that the crowd might be due to a new release.

Hourly comics day, 5:30 AM. A pencil sketch of a person (me) waking up early and looking at his phone. He’s thinking, “shit, I have so many extra hours to draw now…” 6 AM. A back 3/4 view of a sofa with a cat sleeping in the back of it. A person is lounging on the sofa and playing a game on his phone. The narration reads, “And then I played Pokémon TCG Pocket…” but ominously trails off at the end. 9 AM. The narration picks up from the last panel, reading “…for three hours.” The person (me) is now shown from the front, looking concerned at his phone as he says, “holy shit, it’s almost 10.” 10 AM. A sticker-like text box reads “Shower time!” as a shower curtain is pulled aside.
