Having a small bear in my house who would tackle me to the ground with infinite love and affection would probably do wonders for my mental health

Maybe fwd the bill to her bc I can't imagine you're paying for /just/ the domain at that price point. She might be able to help you reduce costs

How long have you had that domain so that it now costs $132/mo?

The peace prizes being palantíri makes a lot of sense tbf. I can imagine that's one of the ways Henry Kissinger thought spreads

I had to take a break from PhDing because b r a i n so this is quite welcome. I might try and put some of my earlier projects out there to have them visible

The more I look at flat earth maps, the more I think that their creators were doing the 19th century equivalent of "Wouldn't it be really neat if Middle Earth /and/ Earthsea were real and just out there somewhere?"

My person is extremely kind and gentle, they've never been a part of those groups mentioned. But even then it can be difficult to help someone who cannot believe that they can be helped.

Someone I care for a lot feels the loss of those years more acutely than I. Trying to make incremental changes, making it so that there are more and more good days, doesn't make the bad years go away.

I can at least see why you'd choose to just live in the pain if you think you can't outgrow it.

Because irony is dead, let me emphasise that bad things would probably happen. This is a torment nexus scenario

Anglophone/EU countries being extremely normal as the growth of the middle class in the global south is causing a domestic gender crisis.

Honestly, I think the worst thing about this model is that it's pretty unsubtle as a metaphor

Unhinged, but a novel à la Left Hand of Darkness exploring this idea further would be a genuinely enjoyable read.

If nothing else, the fact that a redistributive tax policy could theoretically amount to national forcemasc is incredibly funny to me.

I use fixed needle syringes right now but previously I'd switch between two needles with the same gauge.

There wasn't an appreciable difference between the two methods tbch. The fixed needle is just slightly more convenient and I don't need to worry about losing medicine to needle switches

I've been using 25G for my current EEn vial, and I've had no problems after ~12-13 draws (touchwood), but I do have to take a fair bit of care with insertion.

I'll keep an eye on the stopper though, and I'll try an alternative if it craps out on me early

I had problems with the last vial I got from them, but I assumed it was because the needle gauge was too big (21G) and I wasn't using a blunted drawing up syringe.

If it's an issue with the plastic they're using then I'm a bit worried
