The first day of the conference featured opening remarks by Minister of Science and Education Radovan Fuchs, and Mayor of the City of Rijeka Iva Rinčić, along with other distinguished guests, followed by a keynote lecture by Professor Filip Kostelka, with discussant Tena Prelec.
