I’ve got babel but not read yet. That’s fair about Katabasis, it is a very small part of the story if that makes a difference (not the focus) but I do get that!

This one really stretched my imagination to its limits haha. I didn’t know anything about the source of this but don’t think you needed to - it was great.

Ahh I loved those too! And also couldn’t stop thinking about i who have never known men, just racking through every possibility 😅 Have you read Katabasis by RF Kuang? Piranesi is kinda similar.

Eeeshk. Hope it’s OK! 🖤 Opticians could be a shout too if your doctors can only see you in 10-14 business days like mine 🙃 I had a meltdown 2 days before our wedding because my eyes were awful (red, dry, painful, itchy) and the optician was great!
