Riding motorbike home from photoshoot; came upon a line of parked cars, just as an Audi, a Mercedes, and a BMW were approaching from the other direction.

Literally my top three makes of cars stereotypically driven by arseholes, yet all three of them pulled in to let me pass! I’m gobsmacked! 😱

Not the most fantastic performance from me today so far. Picked up a lock for a locker, managed to completely bollox up setting the combination (typical), so had to brush off my extremely rusty safe cracking skills to open it up again. FFS!

My sister: Google maps a complete itinerary and route for the day.

Me: look! There’s a bus! It’s going someplace! <gets on>

Me: four different shampoos, two conditioners, three scalp treatments, two leave in conditioning products, travels with own towels because picky, skincare routine pretty much needs its own suitcase.

My sister: got a shampoo bar? Cool! Let’s go!

Was spraying horticultural soap on a houseplant (aphids sucking the life out of the poor thing…ugh) and a tiny little spider crawled out. I rescued him, and tried to rinse him off so he wouldn’t suffocate, but he went down the plug hole because I’m a klutz. Now I feel like an awful person. 😢

I fear some people forget that artists are human too. Yes, we are humans. We are messy. Sometimes we make absolutely shit decisions and do ridiculous things. If, meanwhile, we manage to create some objectively powerful and great art, then that can only be a good thing.

So much of this is terrifying, but, the most “WTF?” thing of all here is that they used FLAMMABLE CLADDING in the containment structure! I mean…yeah…that’s a perfectly sane idea—what could possibly go wrong? I fear for humanity more than ever before.
