That’s kinda what happens when most of the actual villains from the episodes adapted don’t appear for half the movie (if at all), leaving only the grunts any decent bender could take for 80% of the action scenes.

I already got the Star Wars Jedi games in my backlog ages ago. I’m not in a hurry to play anything else by them after that point anyway.

For the sake of completing the comparison: Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut is less a “Disney LA remake” and more of a “HBO Harry Potter series” situation. Which I would argue is worse for much more petty reasons.

I think the only remakes we’ve had in the last few years you can make this comparison to in earnest is MGSDelta or Silent Hill 2.

In this case it’s wanting to play Octopath Traveler for like 7 years but still having not played Live A Live, or for that matter Dragon Quest 4.

Thank God I crossed Mother 3 off the list ages ago before I knew there was a line of succession.
