Also trying to figure out what to do with the toe kicks. There’s some tiny nails sticking out that I need to remove, and I guess I can just fill the holes and call it a day. But also weighing the options of painting or maybe wallpapering it (doing wallpaper as a backsplash, see pinned post ). #diy

I agree with others about a lawyer first. And in the meantime she should document everything and try to discretely back up any digital evidence someplace that work can’t remove her access to. I’m so sorry to hear this is happening, absolutely horrifying. :(

I feel like the glue is the reinforcement / insurance. Screws add a ton of strength by themselves. There’s not many cases where I’d use glue alone… projects like cutting boards or dovetailing would use glue at most. But my experience is limited to more basic things, so I’m probably biased 😅

Absolutely not an expert but we tend to use glue in addition to screws (rather than as a substitute). But we avoid glue whenever possible for the same reason of repair.

We’re currently custom-building a window seat and might use glue and nails on any trim, since it’ll be a high traffic area.

Aww no worries at all! Honestly, I feel the same a lot of the time. Sometimes this app is buggy and other times I think it’s just me not getting it 😂

Thanks so much!! It feels like it’s never gonna get done sometimes, but just gotta keep taking these baby steps. 😊

Ahh it turned out so cute!! I’ve always wanted to try embroidery. Herbs sound like a really fun starter project!
