Underrated part of Gold and B Line openings is how easy it is to get around downtown St. Paul now. Walk from my office to Lost Fox is a little long to squeeze into the workday(30 min round trip), but can usually make it 15 min by hopping on whichever of the B/Green/Gold Line is arriving next.

Have this video from summer 2023, felt like a scene from a dystopian movie. Was hard to breath biking home and the highway was still busy at like 10pm

After a 20 min delay, just watched my bus get caught at the light a block away for two cycles by cars blocking the lane. Good amount of the traffic were giant pickup trucks seemingly on their way to the Post Malone show. Felt like a simulation meant to piss me off as much as possible.

Biked to rec league hoops again tonight, once again asked “Do you want a ride home?” I know you’re being nice, but good luck taking this away from me

The War on Cars might finally be here folks. Banana peels in two separate bike lanes this morning. Drivers have come out of the gates swinging.

Only major downfall of riding your bike in the winter is having to stop and take your gloves off to take pictures. Beautiful night in Minneapolis.

Peak rush hour in the new bus lanes on E Hennepin and First Ave NE. Give drivers an inch and they take a mile. Should’ve never been downgraded from full-time lanes.

And it’s being enabled by traffic engineers. Got this response after asking for “No Right on Red” signs on a project in my neighborhood.
Short answer: “Drivers won’t listen so we aren’t going to install them”
