Daughter & I went to Vegas. Saw a Cirque show, Dead & Co at Sphere, Santana at House of Blues, kayaked on the Colorado River, had great meals, drank a Verbena at the Cosmopolitan, had frozen drinks at a Taco Bell cantina, WAY overspent & had a great time. Oh yeah, saw Elvis on a scooter.

@alivitali.bsky.social Went kayak camping on Tiger Key (Everglades Natl Park) & temp never went below 71 with humidity in the 90's. Beautiful Sunsets, Sunrises, a Full Moon & tons of wildlife, including a gator (8 miles out - very rare) but it was 🔥.

Reminded me of this post. Everglades City is a tiny fishing town (pop. 396) on the Gulf, adjacent to the Everglades. We kayak\camp all around there, it's a cool, albeit very small town.

Once the weather in Florida gets reasonable, a group of friends & I kayak\camp all over. We see all kinds of wildlife - from the beautiful to the dangerous, incredible Sunsets & Sunrises, & we eat better than most do at home.

We do a LOT of kayak\camping on islands in Everglades National Park. This is a Full Moon while we were on Jewell Key. Forecast was so clear, we took our rainfly's off & watched the Moon as it crossed over Jewell.
