And this is primarily why as a Kamara owner in Dynasty, I’m a bit nervous. Kamara is always a good RB to have but you always know he’s gonna produce big points when Carr was tossing him the rock

Interesting. I’ll watch it eventually after I make my way thru the rest of the UC stuff first lol

If Des Moines gets a team Caitlin Clark better be traded to it or however they do it. Any Iowan knows that’s a million dollar franchise right there

Overall I really liked it, definitely wasn’t my favorite but I like where it ended and interested to see how Sanderson blends it into the rest of the Cosmere. I’ve finally got some more free time so it’s time to crack into Words of Radiance!!

Lightsong is easily my favorite character, but Siri and Vivenna are very compelling and interesting characters as well. Didn’t leave the book with any absolute favorites of the entire Cosmere, but still very enjoyable characters

My favorite aspect of the book was the worldbuilding Idk if it was only me but T’Telir and the idea of Gods ruling this city and all that felt very Greek/roman mythology inspired which I adored. I liked the power system, but it wasn’t my favorite, I’d say it’s below Stormlight and the Metallic Arts

Gonna give Keep on the Borderlands a shot myself

Either way, it’s very good for an authors first published work, and it’s cool to see concepts Sanderson fleshes out in his later books, for that reason alone I still recommend it

There’s like, 30 side characters to keep track of too, all interesting but nothing truly grabbed me besides Raoden and him giving the people of Elantris hope. This book feels like a proto-Mistborn/TWoK as a lot of these ideas Sanderson does better in those books.

Too be honest I still found it an interesting read, but this books pacing is BEYOND insane. It feels like it’s trying to pack a trilogy into one book. I’m sure this is due to publisher/editing issues but I just felt like I was flying through this story and there was no chance to breath

Overall I do love this book, it’s a great conclusion to the trilogy and made me hunger for more Cosmere, just not sure if I love it more than the first 2 books. As a whole I love this trilogy and whole heartedly recommend everyone read it
