When I watch the game awards I try to keep the developers in mind as much as possible. I truly believe the emotion they have for being recognized for their work is real regardless of the many problems with the show, and I'm happy for them.

My headcanon for Prime 4 is that Samus is like the Doom Slayer and couldn't give less of a shit about what any of these grunts have to say

I thought it was cool when the only human face you would see in these games was in the reflection of your visor.

I think as soon as anything has so much as a whiff of being “the next Fortnite” people will let wishful thinking carry them a long way.

Seeing credits for me was like seeing the first couple of people leave the party when I’m ready to go home. I had a great time and I know yall are gonna keep going, but I’m out.

I feel like the friction is meant to make you feel more accomplished when you eventually overcome it, but it just causes me to disengage. The feeling I have is more “ok I get it” and I sorta zone out until I get back to having fun.

I feel like I’m nowhere near being ready to get spoiled on the timeline lol. It’s a big game with lots of side stuff, it’s going to take a while for people to get through if they aren’t just doing the main story.

Using the joy cons in the holder thing is a terrible experience compared to a proper first party or solid third party like 8bitdo. I think a lot of early adopters/enthusiasts will see it as a mandatory purchase.

The main launch game being Mario Kart kinda dampens it for me. I feel like there won’t be a game to really sink my teeth into until Metroid. I like MK fine but it’s more of a pick up and play thing for me.

Four titles, four MVPs, countless other accolades over a 20+ year career, but what people will really remember is how he was mean to some professional yappers.

These are pure souls, they can’t even conceptualize the kind of knife violence that the rest of us can. I give them a pass.
