P1 stay & play: It was lovely to have so many of our families join us today to find out about our progress in phonics and reading. We loved 'being the teacher' and showing our families all the fun games and activities that support us to read our sounds and words.

P2 and P3 had a blast during PPI time this week! ✨ We measured how far our paper planes could travel, practised our sewing skills, and even looked after babies. We carefully measured out their food so we didn’t give them too much or too little. 💛✈️🧵🍼

This morning for BEE time we worked together to bake banana cupcakes 🧁. We had to measure out the ingredients accurately. Then we safely chopped the banana into small pieces and mixed all our ingredients together. Finally the children divided the mixture equally between 12. Well done everyone 👏!

We have enjoyed exploring the drum kit again this week. We've been learning how to keep the beat using the different drum pads too. 🥁 I can see Carronshore's first ever boy band in the future ⭐

We enjoyed a visit to Cineworld this morning to see Garfield as part of the @intofilmscotland.bsky.social festival. We all had a great time! Thanks @mrsg-ewo-cps.bsky.social for driving some of us there on the minibus 😁.
