Most people do use smartphones, though. I get not liking Microsoft, but that's just a fact. I can send you the stats if you want. Most web traffic comes from phones. The average person just doesn't care about Windows 10 dying off.

I feel like the talking point of "people will HAVE to buy a new computer" is kinda stupid. Obviously windows 11 is hot ass but the reality is that most people who need a computer for work or something get one provided to them from their job. Otherwise, most people use smartphones for everything.

They're pushing 11 so hard because they have to justify all the bs in it to their shareholders. The same thing happened with 10 and 8. Windows 11 isn't as catastrophic as 8, and I think a lot of the issues are played up for internet points, but the point still stands.

I mean, sure, but it's not a silver bullet for a lot of these people. Most people still on Windows 10 don't even know what an OS is, let alone how to install it. I'm saying all this as someone who uses cachy os.
