My only concern is that, this won't affect the really rich. But those families that scrimp together the fees by going without, will no longer be able to afford.

In the 30-plus years of working in palliative care, my observation is that some have good deaths, some dont. I feel we need to be honest on both sides of the debate, the truth as it is. We need to work together to improve end of life care for all whatever people's choices are.

It has to go through parliament to make it difficult to change. It would be a really hard process to amend.
