I thought I was making a happy album, but really I was happy making this album. In truth, the themes of growth and healing emerge from deep sorrow and foundations of trauma. I’m pleased with how this album art has a bit of childish wonder mixed with a haunted energy.

I practiced music to an audience of geese today. Geese sorta scare me since they can be aggressive and hiss. So I feel like they were a good audience to practice too. I kept them appeased I think. Like…. None of the applauded, but they stayed nearby without attacking me. So I think I did good.
