I'm absolutely sick of them speaking on my behalf when they daily say 'the British people are angry about immigration'.

And for the 'nothing is free' brigade yes some of us pay a bit more tax for this - I pay about £100 more in tax a month than I would in England but feel it's excellent value for money and would happily pay more.

SNP need more of this - make it crystal clear what will go if labour etc get majority in may. It's not negative campaigning it's factual. Obviously people might not agree with these policies which is fine but so many don't even realise what they get because of current govt.

Is this real?? Breakfast clubs aren't to give parents free time?! They're so low income kids can get a meal and so parents can get jobs? FFS 🤦🏻‍♀️ who writes this stuff?
November 22, 2025 at 10:38 AM
What's that got to do with asylum seekers?
November 21, 2025 at 4:36 PM
How is calling a reporter 'piggy' honest?
November 20, 2025 at 11:53 PM
I heard her explaining this today on R4 and have to say it's the most twisted logic I've ever heard. She basically blames asylum seekers for racism and says those who aren't anti-immigration are only that way because of their privilege?! This is a Labour minister 🤦🏻‍♀️
November 20, 2025 at 11:13 PM
It's fine, she basically said anyone who doesn't think asylum seekers are the UKs main problem are just privileged and must not have experienced racism. 😑 Cos it's asylum seekers causing racism too now apparently. If we have less we will have less racism. Apparently. 🤯

Steve reed on R4 yesterday morning was asked the simple question about children and was unwilling / unable to give an answer. I don't actually think they are that ghoulish they would separate kids from families, it's just a back of a fag packet policy they again haven't thought through. Again.

Yes and majority of senate voted that he did cause the riots in the impeachment trial, including Republicans. I think that might have had more impact on his reputation than a clipped video that noone even noticed.

Yes, I'd assume so. So absolutely not an option to pay anything

Alongside 'give everyone their own helicopter' and 'fix all the problems'
November 15, 2025 at 12:15 PM
When I do mock elections with my 1st year classes (11/12 year olds) this is genuinely the policy they always come up with - 'give everyone a thousand pounds, that will get us elected!'
November 15, 2025 at 12:15 PM
Labour just can't seem to understand this. They think if they create a few 'tough on immigration's policies reform voters will come flooding back, despite this consistently being proven wrong in polling.
November 15, 2025 at 11:36 AM
How would this even work with families? If a child comes here as a toddler, has an English accent and friends and life at one point they'd have to return to a country they'd never lived in? Will asylum seekers not be allowed to have children?
November 15, 2025 at 11:32 AM
Yes I'm not their biggest fan but to say they're the most biased in the world seems like nonsense.
November 15, 2025 at 11:04 AM
If the BBC pay him a penny of licence payers money they are finished. That isn't an option. Which is, I assume, his intention anyway.
November 15, 2025 at 10:54 AM
It's very hard to believe

This is not just about the BBC, this is a coordinated attack on the news services in the UK. Comcast are trying to buy ITV and that includes ITN and Channel 4 News. Note how no one is talking about that and we have a poodle government, they'll roll over and later trump will sue anyway as greed
November 10, 2025 at 7:32 PM
You think the BBC is the least trustworthy news service in the world??
November 11, 2025 at 10:13 PM
I saw headlines and assumed he meant the rise of the far right, harassment of those fleeing war, increasing use of foodbanks, working people not being able to buy a home etc was what was wrong with country.

Sorry I thought you said this: 'Starmer's policies have directly contributed to these and similar events happening' in relation to the event that happened last night that the post was about.
November 2, 2025 at 3:19 PM
They were British so nothing to do with illegal immigration. How do you think Starmer should 'stop knife crime'? Are you suggesting incidents like this didn't happen before Starmer or don't happen in other countries across the world?
November 2, 2025 at 11:20 AM
But what is it you want him to do that would've prevented this attack that we know very little about?
November 2, 2025 at 10:39 AM
That really is poor, I get they'd be putting stuff out in a rush but that suggests they don't understand the difference between a county and a town?!
