My mind is trying to transition from all of the “What fresh hell is this?!” news that I have been reading…to having to conduct a normal business day of Teams meetings and fake pleasantries- on the first full day of The Upside Down that is now our country.

BCBS denied a blood test, for no prior auth. Now I have a bill for almost $4000. For one blood draw.
LabCorp says they don’t call for prior auth, except TriCare. Appealed-denied. Not for being medically necessary, but because no one got prior auth. Who is suffering? Not the doc. Not LabCorp.
