While most of my experience (including a publication in BMC Bioinformatics) is in computational work, I'm just as comfortable in a BSL-2 biosafety cabinet doing mammalian cell culture and molecular assays as I am writing -omics level data analysis pipelines in R and Python!

have had to do with the content of any of the criticisms that have been leveled at her, but the fact that she is being criticized *at all*.

It's interesting that you use the language of unworthy victimhood when it more accurately describes McBride's her attitude toward Palestinians.

I fail to see how that's relevant.

This would have been an excellent way to push back against Republican anti-trans rhetoric. As an elected official *in US Congress*, she has agency and power that many others are not afforded.

Why are you shielding her from this criticism? None of your complaints

What's the point in her being there if she won't stand for her principles as a trans woman?

As people pointed out, this was a huge tactical error. She could have stuck to her guns and rallied the support of liberal allies. They can't expel her without at 2/3rds vote.

Criticizing an open Zionist for not having the backbone to stand up for the rights of people like her as an elected official in Congress is not "putting a trans woman on blast".

We don't need to cover for someone who would readily betray her own community to line her pockets with AIPAC money.

Honestly wondering if it's worth skipping some of the easier problems, as I'm not sure what value a write-up for super basic things like Hamming distances and RNA -> protein translation brings given the wealth of info out there 😅

What do people think?
