I mention this most years but it's about time we had a Christmas adaptation of The Hobbit. Traditional animation (or stop-frame!) would work brilliantly I feel, with Bilbo et al inhabiting festively lit settings akin to the glittering Wilderland depictions of Latvian illustrator Laima Eglïte (1991)
