Such a good day yesterday. I am still feeling all the love from Campbell River SD. I was so lucky to be speaking along side the Honourable Jody Wilson Rabould. It was such a powerful and wonderful morning. Thankful for the district for having me in. Look for us doing some more book talks together.

What an amazing honour it is to hear my book is a finalists in non fiction category of the Foreword Indies Book of the Year Awards, which celebrate outstanding literary works. This is so amazing!!

I had the best time yesterday speaking with educators across Vancouver Island and beyond about my book. So many great conversations and lovely people. It was their first Indigenous Education Early years conference and it was amazing! Hoping to see everyone again next year at this event.

This was the most amazing morning. I loved talking with folks and connecting with educators about the work I do. I felt so loved and connected with all the educators today. Needless to say I am loving my trip to Toronto.
