I finally honed into the differences between Big Bluestem and Little Bluestem, two of the big 4 prairie grasses. They are especially gorgeous in the fall!

Peaceful fall evening at Walden Ponds in Boulder, CO. These ponds are named after Walden “Wally” Toevs, who headed the effort, asked for by local residents, to turn spent gravel pits into wetland habitat in the 1970s. The efforts continue today.
