After being unable to find an employer that could sponsor me, I went back to the States. After working for a bit, I decided I wanted to move back and become self-employed.
Which led me to:

After being unable to find an employer that could sponsor me, I went back to the States. After working for a bit, I decided I wanted to move back and become self-employed.

Right after I finished my degree, I applied for the "Zoekjaar" visa. This visa gives you 1 year to find a job w/ an employer that will sponsor you.
During this time, I had full access to the labor market & could work full-time hours. I could also be hired w/o restriction.
