Yup! My brother was raised by Boomers who had the opposite mindset so he was prepared when he got into the oil and gas industry (in the financial division) not to live above his means. Same house for 25 years,etc. Meanwhile coworkers going bankrupt over credit card debt,etc. It’s crazy!

Our daughter is flying home for Christmas and bringing her oldest cat along so he:
-gets his medication promptly twice a day
-has a Christmas tree to nap under for the holidays. No presents out till Christmas Day but we always have a sleepy orange boy under the tree for the run up to the big day.

They are second cousins and I expect them to be pretty similar temperament-wise but he will be bigger and more solid so being good buddies at this point is great.

Oh, most definitely! Just took this as we have an after lunch relax. The only time she sounds grumpy with him is when he is waking her up in the morning. Being on her own since February means she has been missing a best friend badly. Even one of the two cats has been sussing him out closely today.
