Happy #Caturday. My niece was visiting and got these pics of my kitties. My late sister’s “kids” (Mother’s oldest grandchildren) were here yesterday and are big cat lovers. My cats LOVED them and they were in their element.

I noticed the aunt put her onions in the cornbread & bake it. My mother did that and so did I. Easier than sautéing the onions separately unless people also sauté celery. We don’t use it. We use celery for “stuffed celery” with homemade pimento cheese.

Yeah, I don’t drink any soft drinks. Decaf black coffee. Decaf iced tea. (unfortunately with an artificial sweetener, been drinking it like this for decades. I love candy and just had to go cold turkey.
