I think it may be more calculated, as the current Dems seem to just not carry any weight. Trump keeps blaming the Dems for everything. It is hard to fight a haughty, loud, orange fictional character, I think as more people see how his changes are hurting people them, people's eyes will open wide.

Somehow the Democrates seem to be having difficulty clawing their way back. Why don't they put pressure on Mark Cuban to run. He is quite likeable and low scandel level, raising a family with good morales.
