First bird of my day. It is a damp and grey day here and there were no birds around until a herring gull flapped purposefully across the grey sky. North Lancashire is slowly waking up. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

Hi Yaroslava from northwest England. Of course I remember the jolly cups with flowers. I didn't realise their manufacture threatened russia! It is a grey day here but yesterday gifted us sunshine and we headed for the hills for the joy ⏬️

First bird of my day. As the sun began to appear on a frosty morning I heard a blackbird calling as it flew across the garden. Soon after the herring gull morning conversation began, drowning out the chatter of smaller birds. I really wish I could speak herring gull! #FirstBirdOfMyDay
