After my mother died, it fell primarily to me to care for my very elderly father, who, in all honesty, was pretty independent for a man in his 90's.

Our lives, like our closets, occasionally need selective “editing.” If what you’re watching, reading, listening to isn’t making your life better and your mind or body healthier, consider letting it go. This is a good week to take inventory.

I love seeing the pictures of cats and nature. Meanwhile over at my house, Gus is on the naughty list. It was his first garbage bag extravaganza and it did not go well.

I love seeing the pictures of cats and nature. Meanwhile over at my house, Gus is on the naughty list. It was his first garbage bag extravaganza and it did not go well.
We can get too focused on things we can’t control, and that will always cause stress and anxiety. When you feel your peace slipping away, start a project that will consume you. When you finish you’ll have something you can be proud of and your perspective will be a little better. Then keep going.
