We haven’t had the sun shining here in about 400 days! Ok, it’s been about a week of dark skies and gloomy weather so my sun catchers haven’t had any sun to reflect and give me beautiful rainbows until today. Maybe this week I will have it finished up. #owl #sunshine

Finally had a moment to work on this one yesterday. Short eared owl, photo reference from Kyle Underwood Photography, permission to draw from photographer. Colored pencils and ink on tan tonal paper.

A friend needed a logo ASAP, I don’t make logos professionally but have made a couple these past two years. This is the concept design they liked the most so I ran with the idea. This one came together much faster than expected but I’m happy with the results.
