wow april 15-17 2026 has an INSANE Aries stellium. 5 of 7 planets there, with Venus in Taurus, Jup in Cancer. At least the benefics have some nice dignity while Mars is running the WHOLE SHOW and all the energy is concentrated in the Aries part of your chart.

Mars in the 6H WANTS TO WORK HARD ALL THE TIME to SOLVE ALL THE PROBLEMS! There are always more problem so always more work, and you need to keep Mars busy to be happy, so hence 6H is house of Mars' Joy.

Sahl is easily my favourite source. Taken together, his "Introduction," "Fifty Aphorisms," and "On Questions" present a complete treatment of horary, and he clarifies a lot of tricky things that are unclear or missing from later sources like Lilly. Māshā'allāh's "On Reception" is a close second.

My dog-walk thought for today is that there is always something difficult happening around me, whether that's in my life, or the lives of people I love, or at a national or global level - just like the malefic planets are always somewhere in the sky. Happiness is often a matter of what I focus on.

Right now retrograde Mercury and Venus look like they are both heading backwards through the zodiac towards a conjunction with Saturn, but while Venus will complete this conjunction, Mercury will station direct and "revoke" the conjunction before it perfects. Super important for horary astrology.

I just did a natal consult for my mom, of all people. . . and WOW was it powerful/revealing to look at her sun, moon, rising, and especially how her Lot of Spirit completely captures her life's work, purpose, and calling in the world.
