It's become more and more apparent that we are declining. More rapidly as momentum is building up. The very wealthy are trying to collect all they can to save themselves. The impact on the rest of us is further acceleration.
I was always interested in the decline of civilization.

Relax, hopefully everything will work out well for ordinary people. I'd hate to think that millionaires and billionaires will continue to bankrupt the west
