Thank you. I had a bibliography course when I got my master’s in theology, but that was years ago. I’m currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree with an emphasis in mental health ministry. I love learning more about God and his word! Thank you for this recommendation.

I believe it does. 2 Timothy 3:16 says "All Scripture is inspired by God" (NASB). The Greek θεόπνευστος [theopneustos] literally means "inspired by God" and its etymology reveals a connection with breathe. God breathed perfect--inerrent--words through the writers in the original writings.

I've read Volume I of Wright's series on Christian Origens and the Question of God. It was eye-opening to me in many ways. The quote here definitely seems in line with his approach to considering the culture and worldview of a community for better understanding of their beliefs and actions.
