Joris has NO idea who the Doozers were. Which is a shame cos I think he would have liked Fraggle Rock.

#huttenweek in Uitgeest. This is when the timber was delivered. The sound of tiny hammers and tweenpop sadly not captured here. The fact all the kids were wearing yellow really gave off major Doozers from Fraggle Rock vibes which I enjoyed greatly.

Strong recommend. Until 4pm today Trafalgar Square. Jeremy Deller's Hogarthian rave project. One part village fete to 2 parts free rave. Epic. Wonderful. Also this.

The enthusiasm of the teenagers in the photocopy room at Wolfgang Tillmans is pretty endearing. They even got to use a stamper on their final art which also seems to prompt rapturous attention.
(well mostly)

St Vincent at FNAC Live Paris. She keeps trying to distract the other people in the band by biting them or saying something funny in their ear. FNAC Live is completely free although this does seem to require (these days) sponsorship by arifryers and co-pilot. Comme ci comme ca.

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Am enjoying the fan theories / subtext discussion already and it's only episode 1.

Big day today. How on earth did I manage to talk so much almost every day in my old job? Just presented and ran a three hour workshop. Oof!

The information room at the Science Museum last night. Pretty amazing. Jarvis was there as was Fred Again. The former I can imagine a fan (much of it made me think of Tilt era Scott Walker) and then it took me a moment to remember there's a connection with Fred Again and Eno of course!

The "cookbook shop" in Amsterdam. Lots of familiar names here. The Dutch are huge foodies and via not just a vast network of independent and high street bookshops but also non trade outlets like Dille & Kamille (cookware and homeware store) they sell thousands of cookbooks in English and Dutch.

Starting to get excited about the big move (500m down the road) to the new flat. I walk past it some days to see if it looks like it will be finished on time. Anyway today I remembered again how there is a little library and community veg patch over the road. Here's the library. It's cute right?
