That's where we as leaders in the field need to work together and show them how the pieces must work together, and why working with developers and community isn't an afterthought.

A broader scope of DevRel identifies the developer at the start of their journey - that can best serve the needs of the developers and the company. A narrow scope tends to serve divisiveness which doesn't properly serve anyone.

Developer Relations is an umbrella term that must include developer marketing OR it leads to loss of understanding of community and the fallout from that.
