Retired computer programmer, worked at Cornell University for 35 years. Now I avoid alarm clocks, paint a little, try to get a reasonable amount of exercise, go for walks in decent weather, and... apparently there's a character limit here.
Is there a way to find people's names from their Bluesky names? The best I've found is to click on profile pictures.

Completely new to Bluesky, joined to support it, don't know how much I'll use it, if it's mainly like twitter. What I would really like is something that is comparable to Facebook, to get away from that platform.
