I stopped to take this photo in Voëlklip in August last year ( I think ). The light was so beautiful. It’s another small painting at 250mm high. Oil on Canvas.

Started on this piece a few weeks ago. Oil on canvas. This one’s about 800mm high. Branching out to bigger sizes again. This is a forest I walked in a few years ago - and as usual I feel the presence of past visitors and their footsteps and also the native creatures that observe, unseen.

WIP I’m laying down some neon vibes hoping they will pop through. We sailed right up to these cliffs and kept a depth of 70m. The drop underwater is breathtaking. And the height above you… equally so. What quiet strange creatures might live on these cliff islands.. Oil on Canvas board 140 x 210 mm

Hiking in Orangekloof, Cape Town and looking for opportunities to find magic. It’s hard to paint what you feel is there without actually seeing it.
