Thank you so much - i did need a bit of encouragement. The garden wildlife has come along - from a sterile space 6 years ago we have birdsong, bees and butterflies etc. it was hard coming from somewhere that had a mature wood at the side. Trees are so important.

Where does it all go I ask myself. New build garden from 2019 - its had deep mulches of composted bark (2020, 2021, 2022) garden compost and then spent mushroom and green waste (2024)- was digging to change some plants and its all just disappeared - back to the clay/loam - it must be healthier.

Thanks - I know I’m too late for them this year - just had to wait for materials to be obtained. Will be a fun project and will add photos when made

Ahh mine are swamped by shrubs - as I have dug up more lawn and added. Full sun is easy but keeping things from drying out is tricky. I will ponder locations - many thanks x

Lovely - there was one trapped in my greenhouse- I just could not get to it, I hope it escaped on its own ( roof vent and door open). Is that phlox it’s on? I have some phlox - but need to move them to a better place ( they are getting swamped by shrubs )

Excellent - mine seemed to have disappeared after about 2 weeks - obviously found some nicer hairy plants somewhere. Really pleased for you.

I only get common blue, and azures and large red at my pond. ( and some bigger ones). Ponds are such fun. Enjoy your travels x
