As our days get colder, its crucial to recognise that more older people are at risk of health issues from cold homes. 60% of excessively cold homes are occupied by at least one person over the age of 55.16. This is unacceptable.

She highlighted the urgent need for a Commissioner for Older People and Ageing to address the huge gap in national policymaking around ageing.
